Interactive Travel Map

Based on Google Maps, Network West Midlands (who are in overall charge of buses trains and the metro) have done a great job on this map. Not only can you zoom right down into individual bus-stops – but you can see the timetable when you do, and even plan routes. Good work.

A headline about two new bus-related sites that doesn’t mention them coming along at once

Some people love buses. I like them too, but not as much as these guys: BrumBuses.co.uk is run by a guy called Andy, who loves buses as much as he loves animated clip-art. It’s lucky then that his job is as a bus inspector for TWM. On that site there’s a link to the website of another inspector (and you thought that there weren’t any) – Daren “The Inspector” Field who is also a semi-pro (aspiring pro at least it seems) darts player. His site isn’t great, or bus-related really, but it does feature a pic of him in his darting livery — if they were selling these shirts I’d want one… Uploaded with plasq‘s Skitch!
