As someone who lives in and loves Moseley, but is slightly alarmed at its hippyish tendencies – I loved finding this advert for ‘Sharing a House in Moseley’ – including use of the yoga and meditation room.
I coped for a Save Moseley Baths badge at Rootsville, and I’m now proudly sporting it. So I thought it was best to let you know about a fundrasing gig at the Medicine Bar featuring a host of well, gig type stuff. Here’s the flyer, click though for more info on the myspace page: and count yourself lucky it’s on a computer as the back of the hard copy featured comic sans.
The video for Misty’s Big Adventure’s ‘Night time better than the daytime’ sees them akip all around Moseley – see how many places you can spot. Nice jim-jams. via a smursh..
The Epic Skate Park in Moseley is hosting a beer (for which real real-ale) festival over Easter. From today (5th) until Monday (9th). 50 ales and ciders to tempt your cable knit jumper and walrus tache. Here’s a video of councilor Martin Mullaney, a beer fan himself, to tell you all about it…
We love public art, you’ll not see Bi:NS campaign against a statue (unless it blocks the enterance to a pub). We love this weird metal ‘green man’ thing. We don’t really like the overlong and dull (tho’ meticulsly planned granted) work of JRR Tolkien – and we definately think his brief abode in Birmingham is overplayed. Cool idea of getting interweb geeks around the world to pay for it tho’ via BBC News
