Film of everyone who finished the Brum Half Marathon

In a good show of just what the web can do, Central's ITV Local site has very dull video (at least split up into parts) of each person finishing the Birmingham Half Marathon. Interesting if you're looking for someone you know. I'm not about to sit through every minute looking for something funny, but if you spot anything do tell us.

Bob Warman, Anchorman

With huge cuts to ITV’s local news output announced, we’re going to get less local news and less characters like Bob Warman (who in an Anchorman-style twist when to school with Nick Owen). Where tis-was

The old ATV, Central, Carlton studios (home to Tiswas, Crossroads and one series of Blockbusters amongst others is now being demolished – is this the last we’ll see from the inside? Not if this daredevil photographer has anything to do about it.

If you see Paul Henry around Brum – but you might mention that there are now five classic Crossroads episodes online to watch.

Jasper Carrott is about to make his debut as a quiz host on daytime ITV, hosting Goldenballs – apparently a bizarre mash-up of ‘Deal or No Deal’, ‘The Weakest Link’ and ‘Ant ‘n’ Dec’s Pokerface’. According to our source, who was present at recording it’s “confusing as hell”. Look forward to it on Monday 18th June at 5pm.
