Early, I know, but the news that 7inch cinema have announced the dates of the third Flatpack Film Festival — 11th to the 15th March 2009 — is too exciting to keep in. “Over five days in March you can discover some of the best stuff out there by taking a journey through cinemas, warehouses, railway arches and bars across Birmingham. This is a place where film runs headlong into live music and performance, where murals move, where the magic of early cinema mingles with boundary-defying new work from across the world.
