Melody makers new venue

Club NME is re-launching in Brum on 7th February next year – so far so fast-decling-once-great-inky-trying-to-eek-every-last-bit-out-of-its-name, but it mentions that it will be housed  in “a brand new venue in Birmingham custom built for this type of Club Night”. Which, despite despairing of the odd capitalisation, made me go “woo hoo”! The venue is called “The Place I Love” and is apparently a sister venue to the Sunflower, and rumoured to have a capacity of about 200  (this information comes only from the interweb, so make of that what you will). Guessing from where the Sunflower is brings up a couple of possible venues, no-longer used bars around the Queensway area, but if anyone has any concrete ideas I’d be happy to know. Club NME has a myspace, for those that do.
