Birmingham: It's Not Shit loves Birmingham and has loads of news and features. If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to our RSS feed.

This page is automatically generated from my Google Reader list, new blogs I find will appear, old ones that break or I eventually notice have given up will go. I’m fussy with that I spend time reading, but not with my feeds — I find scanning them quickly is the best way to make sure I know as much as possible about the brumterweb.

I don’t recommend that you subscribe to them all but, if you’re as anal as I am, importing the OMPL files into a feed reader would be as far as I know the most comprehensive collection of brummie RSS. Of course if there are any I’ve missed, I’d be happy to know about them.

Blogs that are pretty much about Brum (or stuff that goes on in it):

Here's what we read, but bear in mind we read everything.

Blogs that are by people in Brum, or therabouts:

They blog, but not necessarily about Brum.
  1. Birmingham: It's Not Shit loves Birmingham, its people, arts, animals, buildings, parks, grass verges, factories and bus stops. We've even got a soft spot for the Black Country.

B:iNS runs The Brummie of the Year Award, Talk Like a Brummie Day and organises odd stuff like spending all day on the eleven bus.

BiNS is mostly by Jon Bounds, a Birmingham based social web consultant, producer and writer. You can hire him to work on your stuff, or follow him on twitter.

Feel free to send us anything you're interested in - or think we might be.
If you've got gigs to promote, best to chuck them on the talk board.
