As part of the SAVE OUR MARKETS campaign, a public meeting will be held in St. Martin’s Church on Friday 14th October from 2pm – 4pm.
Carl Chinn, local historian and newspaper columnist will be talking on the history of the markets and how important they have been and are to Birmingham’s communities.
Michael Ward, regeneration and public policy expert, will be talking more generally about how important markets are for the UK.
The campaign leaders will also be discussing what has happened so far. Please inform everyone you know who may be interested about the meeting, and ensure to sign the petition to save the Bullring Markets. [link]
