Screening of RESTREPO at Birmingham Library Theatre 5th November @ 7pm

A Press Release we can’t be bothered to rewrite, but that might interest you: Download now or preview on posterous Restrepo tt flyer.docx (135 KB) A few months ago I contacted you about a film that I had arranged. On the back of the success of the screening screening of Oliver Stone’s South of the Border (150 people came) I have been invited to become a “Regional Ambassador” by the film’s distributor’s Dogwoof. So the next film I will be showing is Restrepo, a documentary about the US troops experience in Afghanistan. This film has won Best Documentary at Sundance Film Festival and has been pretty much universally praised (including being Mark Kermode’s film of the week). The screening is on Friday 5th November at Birmingham Library Theatre @ 7pm. Tickets are £5…. There is a bar and space for people to promote any projects they are involved in. http://restrepo.dogwoof.com/group/ambassadors/?tab=press Anyway, I hope you can come along All the best Stu Permalink | Leave a comment  »
