A Press Release we can’t be bothered to rewrite, but that might interest you:

The UWI (University of West Indies) Singers are a group of singers from the University of West Indies which has bases at various points across the Carribean. For  only the second time in over a decade they are coming to the UK for a tour.

The UWI really are a university choir with a difference. Their repetiore spans genres not usually associated with university choirs such as jazz, folk, and even pop music. Their performance style is also one to be noted and can only be described as Gleeful!

As a much loved and respected group in the Caribbean, the UWI singers have also captured the hearts of Birmingham City Council who are one of the groups many sponsors. They will be performing at Adrian Boult Hall in Birmingham on August 7th 2010.
