The state of swimming pools in Birmingham

27 October 2009
By Jon Bounds

Andrew Brightwell plans to visit every pool in Brum to asses their state — have a swim — and find out whether the council is meeting its commitments.

Also includes a link to Saturday's Moseley Road Baths, Memories and Memorabilia event — which should be good. [link]

To the best of my knowledge there is no descent large fun pool in Birmingham. no waves, no water shots nothing of note anywhere in Brum. This is a shit state of affairs! Spoken as someone who lived in Birmingham for 7 years, often still shops there and frequently defends the city.
