Birmingham Museum Collections Centre is having an open day for photographers on on Saturday 20th June 10am-3pm. I attended the event last year and can highly recommend it. There are so many interesting object to photograph and it is a great day out.

The Birmingham Museum’s website says:

Visitors will be able to explore the Museum Collections Centre taking photographs of the objects.  Optional sessions with professional photographers, Rory Buckland and Ian Reynolds, will give visitors some technical and creative advice.  The event is suitable for all ages and abilities, and a children’s activity and trail will be available to entertain the whole family.

This event takes place at the Museum Collections Centre, Birmingham Museums and Art Gallery’s store.

Admission is £5.00 or £3.50 concessions (excluding equipment and materials)

To book a place, call the box office on 0121 303 1966, visit the Gas Hall reception at BMAG, or book online.

For more information, contact Louise Taylor on 0121 675 2579 or send an email.

See you next Friday!
