“Birmingham New Street – my lowest point” (one he missed)

Rail Minister(?) Andrew Adonis, takes a trip to Birmingham New Street. He hates it as it’s:

“too small for the heaving throng whose only desire is to get in and out of the station as fast as possible.”

That’s. The. Point. Of. Train. Stations.

If one more person suggests lumping art galleries or shops into New St, exasberbating its capacity problem, I shall if not scream, be mildly annoyed.

Translation: “too small for us to attach a heaving throng of pastry cafes and coffee shops whose only desire is to get you to pay 90p for a Kit Kat as fast as possible”

BiNS is mostly by Jon Bounds a Birmingham based social web consultant, producer and writer., You can hire him to work on your social web campaigns or anything really—he's not fussy. Follow him on twitter or drop him an email.

There's also the odd bit of stuff from Danny Smith.
