New for 2009 Supremes!!!!!

Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery
Uploaded with plasq’s Skitch!

Perhaps as a counterpoint to the Home of Metal, but maybe for no other reason than they’re doing the rounds BM&AG has an exhibition  of  “the stunning performance costumes worn by The Supremes”.  Apart from a bit of wardrobe archeology, the position of Motown in modern history is a facinating subject — you may wish to go and see what you think.

But, I’ve seen this image around a lot and every time I don’t think world-famous girl-group. I think otters.

  1. Birmingham: It's Not Shit loves Birmingham, its people, arts, animals, buildings, parks, grass verges, factories and bus stops. We've even got a soft spot for the Black Country.

B:iNS runs The Brummie of the Year Award, Talk Like a Brummie Day and organises odd stuff like spending all day on the eleven bus.

BiNS is mostly by Jon Bounds, a Birmingham based social web consultant, producer and writer. You can hire him to work on your stuff, or follow him on twitter. There's also stuff from Danny Smith and Karen Strunks.
