"The dressing room at the Jug Of Ale in Moseley was actually a toilet" – happy memories of the upstairs toilet in the old Jug. Back in '94(?) I think, I must have been at this gig. [link]

My memories are of being with the Verve in the ‘changing rooms’ as we were friends with Heavy Stereo who now make up some of Oasis. They were top people sharing various things around and having a laugh. The Verve were awesome that night as well. I remember not being bothered to go to the Oasis gig for some daft/lazy reason that escpes me now… which brings me onto The Birmingham Music Archive.
The above comments are exactly what we are looking for on the site. We are in an early development phase but we want people to add their memories, recollections, memorabilia of music in the city, whether it’s about bands, record shops, gigs anything. We want the story to be told be the people who made the stories and to reflect our history and heritage. So please visit start adding your comments, start new topics and also let us know how the site can be improved – remember this is in early development so we really want peoples help and ideas to make this site what it aims to be – a source of civic pride for Birmingham
