Songs about Brum

By Jon Bounds

There aren't that many songs about Brum, but listening to the new Brumcast where Johnny Foreigner sing 'Sometimes, In The Bullring' had me a thinking – how many songs about (and named for a place in) Birmingham could I put together.

Thinking about putting together a real compilation album, but this interweb streaming mix – 8 songs, 8 different artists – might be a start. The comments here might be a good place to leave and fave Brum songs you could name… [link]

Just found it for a listen on Last.fm http://www.last.fm/music/Mogul/_/Rotunda?autostart

It says they’re Belgian, would they be writing about Birmingham?

BiNS is mostly by Jon Bounds, a Birmingham based social web consultant, producer and writer. You can hire him to work on your stuff, or follow him on twitter. There's also the odd bit of stuff from Danny Smith.

Feel free to send us anything you're interested in - or think we might be.
If you've got gigs to promote, best to chuck them on the talk board.
