SundayMercury.net – New site

Duplication with the Mail's site? It's a possibility. Unique content includes a blog about ghost, and one written by a cat. link

Had a look and it seems to be all new, with Brummie bloggers including Glynn Purnell and Bev Bevan amongst others. Strong remarks from Purnell about Taste of Birmingham will set the cat among the pigeons, I suspect. But he’s only saying what many others have been afraid to suggest.

Don’t doubt the blogs will be original stuff, and indeed the news coverage. I find it difficult to see how a “Sunday” can become a daily source of internet news without stepping on the toes of its daily sister-paper.

I wish the guys luck with it, tho’.
