- Festival called off after sand sculpture attacks – Birmingham Post – "A series of giant sand sculptures have been destroyed in Birmingham by vandals on three separate occasions." Dissapointing, but when the first we hear of the 'festival' is when it's called off the chances are that not too many people would have seen it.
