Rotundavision

Rotunda Postcard by tom.smith on flickr
The Rotunda has opened its doors to the lucky tennants of the ‘pie sliced’ appartments therein, and it’s never been more celebrated.

Nic Gaunt’s film 21 Stories gets its premiere next Thursday at the Electric (see newrotunda.co.uk for more details). I’m going to go, so look out for my thoughts afterwards.

If you’re desparate for Rotunda doc action before then, Rosalind Fowler’s film about the building’s past will be part of this Sunday’s (18th May) programme of 7inch cinema.

If you need Rotunda fun _right now_ then go off and make it dance.

  1. Birmingham: It's Not Shit loves Birmingham, its people, arts, animals, buildings, parks, grass verges, factories and bus stops. We've even got a soft spot for the Black Country.

B:iNS runs The Brummie of the Year Award, Talk Like a Brummie Day and organises odd stuff like spending all day on the eleven bus.

BiNS is mostly by Jon Bounds, a Birmingham based social web consultant, producer and writer. You can hire him to work on your stuff, or follow him on twitter. There's also stuff from Danny Smith and Karen Strunks.

If you've got gigs to promote, best to chuck them on the talk board.
