Everything under one roof

Jibbering in Moseley is – according to its press release – “the city’s friendliest and funkiest record shop, art gallery & internet café”. I’m guessing that that’s faint praise really, unless anyone knows of another record shop, art gallery and internet café combo? I know of a unisex hair salon and video library, and a shoe shop, sports shop and undertakers (albeit in Ireland), but no other record shop, art gallery and internet café.

Anyway, coming up (from the 16th May) they’ve got an exhibition of “limited edition prints by many of the finest contemporary urban artists, illustrators, designers & photographers from within and around Birmingham”. Which may well be worth checking out. They’ve also got a new art-focussed website coming up, which we’ll have a look at when it ‘s launched.

Indeed, Jibbering is ace. I try and go often, buy a vinyl, some coffee and a meeting to two.

I shall check out the new artowork. Artwork in there now was done by a chap called Glen, real interesting guy to talk to too.
