I can’t remember a worse time

Rob Hewitt and Simon Redgrave are curating an exhibition looking back on 45 years of the MAC – at an appropriate time, since we’ll soon lose it for 18 months – called Do you Remember The First Time?

They say:

” We pay tribute to unforgettable personalities and performances with unseen archive photos and film footage, period environments and print through the ages.

We would like to hear your inspirational mac moment. Write us a letter for possible inclusion in the exhibition that recalls the first time you had an experience at mac that made a strong impression on you – these will continue to be welcomed until the end of the show, please send to;
Rob and Simon, c/o mac (Archive), Cannon Hill Park , Birmingham, B12 9QH”

It’s on :

Excuse the Pulp, next line of lyrics thing as headline.

  1. Birmingham: It's Not Shit loves Birmingham, its people, arts, animals, buildings, parks, grass verges, factories and bus stops. We've even got a soft spot for the Black Country.

    B:iNS runs The Brummie of the Year Award, Talk Like a Brummie Day and organises odd stuff like spending all day on the eleven bus.

    BiNS is mostly by Jon Bounds, a Birmingham based social web consultant, producer and writer. You can hire him to work on your stuff, or follow him on twitter. There's also stuff from Danny Smith and Karen Strunks.

    Feel free to send us anything you're interested in - or think we might be.
    If you've got gigs to promote, best to chuck them on the talk board.
