Party like it’s the 7.58 service to London Victoria

If you’re a bus spotter, a diesel fume enthusiast, or maybe you have a predilection for Ed Doolan or Ashley Blake (and I know there are a few of you out there) then on Saturday 17 November has Digbeth Coach Station got a party for you…

National Express is marking the end of an era at Digbeth Coach Station this Saturday after nearly 50 years of coach services from the station.

The party takes place at the coach station from 11am until 5pm, and will include appearances from special guests Ed Doolan (BBC WM) and Ashley Blake (BBC Midlands Today) plus live music, free entertainment including two giant bouncy castles, caricaturists, face painters, magicians and stilt walkers, as well as arts and craft stalls from local people including jewellery makers, handmade Christmas gifts and traditional homemade food.

Traditional microwaved Ginsters, obviously. It actually sounds quite good.

If you've got gigs to promote, best to chuck them on the talk board.
