It’s in front of you
Pantomime Horse Grand National 2006, originally uploaded by bounder.
It’s Birmingham’s famous Pantomime Horse Grand National this Friday – and Mickey Stokes riding his Airbiscuit will be there to defend the title for BiNS. Last year he had neigh bother in romping through the field, despite the two in one gradient round the back of the Council House.
The race this year has been moved to Centenary Square and is part of the Children in Need night thingy - but despite it not being anywhere near the Pantomime season, we sure it will be fun.
The horses will parade up and down Broad St from 6.30 – the hardest obstacle will probably be the Walk of Fame – and if they make it back you can cheer Airbiscuit to victory at about 7.30.
