conformation comes from ‘the cumberland news’, which is bizarely reporting that a fella from the area has got the job managing the Academy in Brum. young baldy there wouldn’t of taken the job if it was only for a year or so surely.

you might know that The Archers is made in Brum – there’s documentary about it on BBC Four, Fri 12 Jan, which features some nice shots of old Birmingham as backdrops. And the story behind what Ruth’s up to as well.
